Missing 16-Year-Old Girl May Be In Hudson Valley Authorities are asking for help in locating a missing 16-year-old girl from Saratoga County. Kara Lorman, of Moreau, was last seen on Sunday, July 27, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. She may have travelled to Yonkers or New York City, officials said. A possible clothing description was not given. Lorman was previously reported missing in March, as Daily Voice reported. Anyone with information is asked to contact 1-800-346-3543. Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Commercial Vehicle On Route 9 In Region A pedestrian was struck and killed by a commercial vehicle on a Capital Region highway. The Saratoga County incident happened just before noon at the intersection of Fawn Road and State Route 9 in the town of Moreau, according to New York State Police. A commercial vehicle was heading northbound on Route 9 when it struck the pedestrian. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not yet been released. Man From Region Accused Of Raping Woman While Supplying Alcohol, Pot A Capital Region man is behind bars for allegedly raping a woman and endangering the welfare of a child. Saratoga County resident Alim Mohammed, age 34, of Moreau, was charged on Friday, Sept. 27, in Lamplighter Acres in Moreau. According to the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office, an investigation into the incident found that Mohammed is accused of forcibly raping the woman while supplying her with alcohol and marijuana.  He is also charged with endangering the welfare of a child under the age of 17 and criminal sale of marijuana, the Sheriff's Office said. Alert Issued For Missing Capital Region Man Police are asking for help in locating a man from the region who was reported missing. Saratoga County resident Robert Crofut left his Moreau home at around 10 a.m. Friday, July 5, according to sheriff’s officials. He was driving a white 2011 Dodge Dakota pickup truck with New York license plate number 18186JE. Crofut, who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease, is 5-foot-7 and 120 pounds, and is bald with blue eyes.
