Man From Region Nabbed For Commercial Burglary, Police Say A man from the region has been charged with two counts of burglary for allegedly breaking into the same business twice and stealing property. The incidents occurred in Sullivan County at the Taam Eden Baker at Mountain Square Mall in Monticello on Tuesday, Aug. 27, and Thursday, Aug. 29. According to Monticello Police Lt. Mark Johnstone, Ishmiel Agapito, age 24, of Monticello, was charged on Monday, Sept. 2, following an investigation. Man From Region Charged With Series Of Commercial Burglaries A man from the region has been charged with allegedly committing three commercial burglaries. Sullivan County resident Emmanuel N. Berrian, age 34, of Monticello, was arrested on Thursday, Aug. 29, and charged with three counts of felony burglary and petit larceny. According to Monticello Police Lt. 33-Year-Old Woman Charged After 2-Year-Old Dies In Hot Car In Region A woman has been charged after a 2-year-old died in a hot car in the region. On Tuesday, July 16 at approximately 6:45 p.m. in Sullivan County, police responded to a 911 call of a child left in a vehicle at the Sleepy Hollow Apartment Complex in Monticello. Upon arrival, officers located a 2-year-old boy in a 2012 Ford Explorer suffering from cardiac arrest, New York State Police said. Responders immediately began life saving measures, which were unsuccessful.  His cause of death was determined to be by hyperthermia. The child was later identified as Antonio Ware Suarez. He was…

Woman Dead, Man Injured During Shooting In Region Police are investigating after a woman was found shot to death in a vehicle and a man badly injured in the region. The incident occurred in Sullivan County around 12:30 a.m., Monday, May 28, outside of Building 2 of the Sleepy Hollow Apartment Complex at Terri Lane in Monticello. According to Lt.
