Ex-Martial Arts Instructor Who Sexually Abused Young Students In NY Learns Fate A former martial arts instructor who admitted to repeatedly sexually abusing minors in Dutchess County has been sentenced to prison, prosecutors announced.  Tyler LeClerc, age 27, of Hyde Park, was sentenced on Wednesday, Sept. 3, to 10 years in state prison after pleading guilty in June to multiple felony and misdemeanor charges, according to Dutchess County District Attorney Anthony Parisi. LeClerc pleaded guilty to two counts of third-degree criminal sexual act, one count of first-degree attempted sexual abuse, and two counts of forcible touching, as Daily Voice previously reported.…

Victims ID'd After Double-Fatal Wrong-Way Driver Crash In Hudson Valley Two men were killed during a wrong-way driver crash on the Taconic State Parkway in the Hudson Valley. The incident occurred in Dutchess County at 2:40 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 15, in LaGrange. According to New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks, an initial investigation determined Joseph W. LaFave, age 35, of LaGrange, driving a 2017 BMW X1, traveled north in the southbound lane on the Taconic State Parkway in the area of Todd Hill Road.  Hicks said LaFave struck a 2017 Lincoln Navigator head-on in the left southbound lane. Hudson Valley Man Charged With Burglary Of Business A man from the region has been charged with the alleged burglary of a business that caused extensive damage. Dutchess County resident Konrad Gumper, age 46, of LaGrange, was arrested early Thursday, June 7, in connection with a burglary at Vale Fox Distillery on Noxon Road in LaGrange. According to Capt.
