Teen Bicyclist Seriously Hurt In Hit-Run In NY Police are investigating a hit-and-run that left a 16-year-old bicyclist seriously injured in Orange County. The crash happened between 11:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 12, and 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13, at the intersection of Route 52 and Bel Air Road in the Town of Montgomery, according to Montgomery Police.  Officers were called to the scene at about 1:29 a.m. and found the teen on the side of the roadway after being struck by a vehicle that fled. The victim was treated at the scene by Montgomery EMS and then taken to Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital with serious injuries. …

Crash In Region Sends 1 To Hospital, Police Looking For Witnesses A person was rushed to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle in a busy Hudson Valley intersection. The incident occurred in Rockland County around 5:50 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 8, in the area of Route 340 and Oak Tree Road in Orangetown. According to Sgt. Robert Wentland of the Orangetown Police, the victim, a bicyclist, was struck and injured while attempting to cross the intersection of Route 340 and Oak Tree Road.
