Child Airlifted After Fall On Field Trip In Region A child was airlifted to the hospital after being seriously injured during a fall on a school field trip in the region. The incident happened at about 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3 in Dutchess County at the Mount Beacon Trail head. Fatal Crash: 19-Year-Old ID'd As Victim In Region A 19-year-old was killed in a two-vehicle crash after he allegedly ran a red light in the region, striking another car. Driver Airlifted After Crashing Into School Bus In Region The driver of a minivan was airlifted following a crash with a full-size school bus in the region. The collision occurred in Sullivan County around 8:30 a.m., Monday, May 20, on Route 52 in Jeffersonville. According to Undersheriff Eric Chaboty of the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office, deputies found a full-size school bus that had been traveling westbound when it was struck by a minivan traveling east.  Chaboty said an investigation at the scene indicated the minivan crossed the double yellow line into the path of the bus causing the collision.  Sullivan County Sheriff's Offic…
