Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

The incident happened at about 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3 in Dutchess County at the Mount Beacon Trail head. I-84 Stretch In Orange County Reopens After Crash This story has been updated. A stretch of a busy interstate in the region has reopened after a crash with injuries. The incident happened in Orange County late Monday morning, Oct. 7 on eastbound I-84 between Exit 28 (NY 28 - Maybrook/Montgomery) and Exit 32 (Stewart International Airport/NY 747), causing the closure of both lanes. A Long Island woman has gone missing and authorities are asking the public's help in locating her.  Betty Falk, age 66, was last seen leaving her Hewlett home in her 2023 black Mercedes-Benz around 6 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7. She is described as being vulnerable. Police say she's 5-foot-4, 110 pounds with long black hair. Her destination is unknown. Police Respond To Threat At Danbury Fair Mall Police responded to a threat involving a popular mall in Connecticut. It happened late Sunday afternoon, Oct. 6 in Fairfield County at the Danbury Fair Mall. Danbury Police say officers responded to a report of a possible incident at the mall at around 4:30 p.m.  The officers quickly determined that the threat was not credible and there was no danger to the public, according to police.  "This incident remains under investigation as a swatting call," according to Danbury Police. The mall reopened for business as usual.
