A teenager has been accused of driving while impairing after a crash on the Long Island Expressway caused an oil tanker to overturn. The incident occurred on Wednesday, October 30, at approximately 1:20 p.m. in Manorville. Austin Richuitti, a 19-year-old from Bellport, was driving a 2011 Cadillac at a high rate of speed westbound on the Long Island Expressway near Exit 69 when he collided with the rear of a 2010 International oil truck, according to Suffolk County Police. Driver Flees Scene After Crashing Into Parked Car At Long Island 7-Eleven
Authorities are asking the public's help in locating a hit-and-run driver after a Long Island crash. A Dodge Ram struck an unoccupied 2016 Ford Mustang parked outside 7-Eleven in Kings Park, located at 655 East Main St., on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at approximately 3:40 p.m. The driver of the Dodge then fled the scene. At least six homes were heavily damaged and roads were washed out following a powerful storm system that brought drenching rain and widespread flooding to parts of New York and Connecticut.
