Tyshaun Purvis Sentenced In Dominique Eley's Albany Murder A man from the region will spend the next four decades to life behind bars after being convicted of the murder of a woman in 2022, authorities said.  Rensselaer County resident Tyshaun Purvis, age 33, of Troy, was sentenced to 34 years to life in prison Thursday, Aug. 22, for the fatal daylight shooting of Dominique Eley, the Albany County District Attorney’s Office said.
