Berrian, age 34, of Monticello, was arrested on Thursday, Aug. 29, and charged with three counts of felony burglary and petit larceny. According to Monticello Police Lt. Goldman Sachs To Fire Over 1,300 Workers, Report Says New York City-based multinational investment bank and financial services company Goldman Sachs plans to lay off over 1,300 employees, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal. The move is part of an annual review process that culls low performers, the report said, noting the numbers of those getting fired may wind up being as high as 1,800 out of the company's global workforce of around 45,000. It happened around 2:15 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, in Schoharie County in the town of Seward. An electric bicycle being operated by Mackenzie T. Bamberger of Cobleskill entered the intersection from Hill Road.  It was then struck by a vehicle northbound on State Route 10, according to New York State Police.
