New Update: IDs Released Of Mother, Child Struck, Killed By School Bus In Westchester The names of a kindergarten student and his mother who were fatally struck by a bus while walking to a Westchester school have been released by police. Man Nabbed With Semi-Automatic Gun At Train Station In Westchester, Police Say A Westchester man has been accused of having a gun while at an area train station. Menfil M. Barrios, age 44, of New Rochelle, was arrested on Tuesday, July 27, after the Village of Mamaroneck Police Department received a 911 call of a man with a gun at the Mamaroneck Train Station. Officers and detectives responded and conducted a search of the area. Barrios was located and detained by officers while a further investigation was conducted, said Mamaroneck PD Lt. Mark Gatta. One Dead, Two Critically Injured After Car Slams Into Utility Pole In Westchester One person was killed and two others critically injured after a vehicle hit a utility pole in Westchester and the vehicle burst into flames. The incident took place around 2:37 a.m., Sunday, April 11, in front of 1395 West Boston Post Road in the town of Mamaroneck. The vehicle, a 2003 Honda Accord, struck a utility pole and a fire engulfed the vehicle,  said Lt. James Maher of the Town of Mamaroneck Police Department.
