First responders were dispatched to a Union Road residence on Monday, April 15, when there was a report of a vehicle fire with a utility pole on fire. O'Neill Coach, Teacher Killed When Car Crashes Into Pole James I. O’Neill High School students and school employees are mourning the loss of a favorite teacher and coach who died Monday in an early morning car crash in the Town of Newburgh. Christopher Page, 27, an English teacher at the Highland Falls school for more than three years, was killed driving his 2015 Dodge Charger north on Route 300 around 6:45 a.m., when he failed to negotiate a curve and struck a utility police, according to Town of Newburgh Lt.
