A Hudson Valley woman has gone missing and authorities are asking the public's help in locating her. New York State Police say detectives have been investigating the disappearance of Orange County resident Jennifer Jones, age 43, from Chester. The investigation began on Wednesday, Aug. 2. The 4-foot-11 Jones, who weighs between 110 and 120 pounds, was last seen in the Chester area on or about Wednesday, July 26. She reportedly was going to see her daughter in North Carolina. A woman has gone missing and authorities in New York are asking the public's help in locating her. Northern Westchester County resident Michelle White is a 33-year-old missing vulnerable adult with a traumatic brain injury who may be in need of medical attention, New York State Police announced late Monday afternoon, Sept. 26. Man Pleads Guilty For Distracted Driving Crash That Injured State Trooper
A Long Island man will avoid prison time after admitting to distracted driving during a crash that left a New York State Police trooper “severely disabled” in a case that was prosecuted by the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office. West Islip resident Jesse Cohen, 24, pleaded guilty to third-degree assault in Suffolk County Court in Riverhead.
