Feeling lucky? New Yorkers are being offered an extra incentive to go get the COVID-19 vaccine at select locations. Between Monday, May 24, and Friday, May 28, state residents who get vaccinated at 10 sites will be provided free lottery scratch-off tickets to anyone 18 and older. The tickets, sold by retailers across the state for $20 each, have a grand prize of $5 million. With the supply of the COVID-19 vaccines beginning to outweigh the demand in New York, mass vaccination sites are now accepting walk-in appointments for all adults across the state. New York Gov. IBM Investing $2 Billion In New York For Artificial Intelligence Research
IBM is making a big investment in its future in New York. The Westchester-based company announced that it will be teaming with SUNY Polytechnic Institute to create a new “hardware lab” in Albany as part of a $2 billion pledge by the company to spread its footprint in New York. Cuomo Cronies Found Guilty In Bid-Rigging Scheme Trial
The former president of SUNY Polytechnic Institute and three real estate developers and close confidants of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo have been found guilty on fraud and conspiracy charges in connection to rigging bids regarding the Buffalo Billion construction project, which is worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
