Alert Issued For Man Wanted For Sexually Assaulting Two Women In Hudson Valley
State Troopers are searching for a 24-year-old who faces criminal charges after allegedly sexually assaulting two women, said police. Christopher Gary Elter was charged with the misdemeanor of second-degree harassment in Orange County by the Town of Chester Court. He is 6-feet tall, weighs 155 pounds and has blond hair and blue eyes. Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Elter is asked to contact State Police BCI in Monroe at 845-732-8311.

New York State Police investigators in the Hudson Valley are seeking the public’s assistance in tracking down a wanted man who violated an order of protection, entered his victim’s home through a window and fled from police. Ronald Ackert, 41, is wanted by State Police in Highland on charges that include second-degree harassment and criminal contempt dating back to an incident on the Fourth of July when he fled from responding officers. Man Charged In Thanksgiving Day Road-Rage Incident In Northern Westchester
A 62-year-old man is facing multiple charges after state police say he was involved in a Thanksgiving Day road-rage incident in Northern Westchester. At approximately 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 22, a victim of road rage led the man's vehicle to the parking lot of the State Police Somers barracks on Route 100. The state police sergeant at the barracks heard the disturbance and investigated. Somers resident John A. A man and woman are facing charges after being accused of throwing metal objects at motorists in separate and unrelated road-rage incidents that occurred on the same day in different towns on Interstate 684 in Northern Westchester. A local man surrendered himself into police custody following an investigation into a domestic incident where he allegedly choked a woman and threatened to kill her, according to investigators with the Orangetown Police Department.
