BMW Crashes In Hudson Valley After NJ Burglary, Pursuit, Police Say An occupant of a BMW SUV was seriously injured during a crash in the Hudson Valley that also involved an alleged home burglary and a police pursuit. The incident began in Bergen County, around 8:40 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10, in Closter and ended in Rockland County, in Palisades, a few minutes later with a violent crash that rolled the vehicle and landed it back upright. Pomona Man Faces DWI Charge After Crashing Into Tree, Guardrail In Palisades, Police Say A man from Pomona has been charged with DWI after he allegedly crashed his vehicle into a tree and guardrail in Palisades, police say. Orangetown Police responded to a report of a single vehicle accident near Route 340 and Oak Tree Road in the Hamlet of Palisades on Wednesday, March 27 around 7:30 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 2015 Freightliner box truck that sustained front end damage.
