New Rockland Measles Exposure Site Announced
As the number of measles cases continues to grow with 262 confirmed cases in Rockland County, health officials are warning residents of a measles exposure site after an infected person visited the location. The infected person visited the Pharmacy Plus, at 728 N. Main Street, Spring Valley on Tuesday, May 28 from 1 to 2 p.m., with a risk of the exposure until 4 p.m. These times reflect the period that the infected individuals were in this area and a two-hour period after they left the area because the virus remains in the air and on surfaces for up to two hours.
