67-Year-Old Pedestrian Killed In Hudson Valley Crash On Route 376
A 67-year-old man has died after being struck by a vehicle while crossing Route 376 in the Town of Wappinger, the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office announced. Capt. John Watterson of the Sheriff's Office said it is investigating the fatal car-pedestrian crash that occurred on Thursday, Dec. 21, around 5:30 p.m. on Route 376 near Hackensack Heights Road in Wappinger. Deputies responded to reports of a collision and found that the pedestrian, a 67-year-old man, had sustained life-threatening injuries, Watterson said. A pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle along a busy Hudson Valley roadway. The incident took place in Rockland County around 8:20 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 23 in West Nyack. According to Detective Norm Peters, of the Clarkstown Police, a man was struck by a vehicle in the area of 116 N. Route 303. A pedestrian was hospitalized after allegedly being struck by a driver backing out of his driveway on his way to work, police said. Paramedics and members of the Scarsdale Police Department responded to a Mamaroneck Road home at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Friday, June 18, where there was a report of a woman who had been struck by a vehicle in the roadway. Pedestrian Hospitalized After Being Struck By Vehicle In Ramapo
A pedestrian struck by a vehicle suffered non-life threatening injuries, according to the Ramapo Police. The pedestrian, who was hit around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Route 59 and North Airmont Road, was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital by Ramapo Valley Ambulance and is expected to recover.
