Suspects Who Led Officer On Chase Resulting In Crash Tied To Thefts Across Three States: Police
A Philadelphia trio led Paramus police officers on a brief chase that resulted in a crash -- and then their arrests, authorities said. On Oct. 3, Paramus police officers responded to the Paramus Park Mall on a reports of three people pickpocketing and stealing, Police Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg said. Officer Brian Doughty located Michael Grantham, Kachae Jackson and Danielle Taylor, all from Philadelphia, who fled on foot from the officer into a waiting vehicle, the chief said. BMW T-Bones Paramus Police Car
A BMW sedan crashed into the side of a Paramus police car Friday afternoon. No injuries were reported. The collision occurred just before 4:30 p.m. on Midland Avenue behind Paramus Park mall.

This Is Sears' Last Weekend Ever In Paramus Park Mall
PARAMUS, N.J. -- Saturday will be Sears' final day before shuttering at the Paramus Park Mall more than four decades after opening. There is a major sale on exercise equipment and home appliances, its website says. The bottom store will be replaced by a Stew Leonard's supermarket and the top a 12-screen movie theater. The Sears store opened in August 1974, five months after the mall did.
