21-Year-Old Newburgh Man Sentenced For Having Loaded Semiautomatic Pistol A 21-year-old Newburgh man was sentenced to nine years in prison for having a loaded .380 semi-automatic pistol, according to Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler. Frederick L. Blue, 21, was also sentenced to five years post-release supervision. Blue pleaded guilty to criminal possession of a weapon in November. At the time he pleaded guilty, Blue admitted that he possessed the loaded pistol on May 22, while he was in the vicinity of Carpenter Street and First Street in the City of Newburgh.  Orange County prosecutors argued that Blue had been carrying the weapon in connection …
