16 Plead Guilty In Operation Yellow Brick Road Hudson Valley Drug Bust
A 172-count indictment that took down a major, violent drug ring that trafficked heroin and cocaine in the Hudson Valley has resulted in all 16 members entering guilty pleas. The lone out-of-state defendant, Kennedy Richards, also known as “Prezzy,” of Paterson, N.J., will be sentenced to up 17 years in prison with five years of post-release supervision, Acting New York Attorney General Barbara D. Newburgh Fentanyl Dealer Sentenced After Entering Guilty Plea
A Newburgh man pleaded guilty Tuesday to criminal sale of fentanyl in exchange for a nine years sentence in state prison when he is sentenced in July, according to Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler. Damion Jackson, a/k/a “Toto”, 36, had been charged by an Orange County grand jury with 13 counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance, 14 counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance as the result of an investigation by the Orange County Drug Task Force, said the DA's Office. 21-Year-Old Newburgh Man Sentenced For Having Loaded Semiautomatic Pistol
A 21-year-old Newburgh man was sentenced to nine years in prison for having a loaded .380 semi-automatic pistol, according to Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler. Frederick L. Blue, 21, was also sentenced to five years post-release supervision. Blue pleaded guilty to criminal possession of a weapon in November. At the time he pleaded guilty, Blue admitted that he possessed the loaded pistol on May 22, while he was in the vicinity of Carpenter Street and First Street in the City of Newburgh.
