Nyack College is hitting the brakes on its planned move out of Rockland and into Manhattan as it faces a housing shortage. Community Concerns Over Proposed Nyack College Sale Addressed By Day, Local Mayors
Various Rockland County officials discussed the details surrounding the proposed sale of Nyack College campus during a meeting held Friday, Dec. 7 at County Executive Ed Day’s office. In attendance were the Supervisors from the Town of Clarkstown and the Town or Orangetown. Nyack College Closing Rockland Campus, Will Return To Manhattan
Nyack College has announced that it is planning on leaving Rockland County and “returning home” to New York City. School officials said on Wednesday that “Nyack (College) is heading back home to New York City to continue to pursue (its) mission of 'preparing men and women to take the whole Gospel to the whole world.’ This will establish Nyack as a truly unique Christian college.
