Health Officials Issue New Warning On Vaping-Related Illnesses After New Fatalities As news comes that a third person has died as a result of complications from vaping, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is urging people to avoid using e-cigarettes. The CDC said Friday, Sept. 6, that they are also investigating a fourth death possibly linked to vaping, in addition to deaths in Illinois and Oregon, and the latest in Indiana. Vaping-Related Illnesses Climb In New York, Including Locally The number of vaping-associated illnesses is spreading with 25 cases across New York State, including locally.
