Man Stabbed Multiple Times By Woman Near Area Bakery, Police Say
A 39-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly stabbing a man multiple times during a fight at her home. Kimberly Roberts, of Lake Katrine in Ulster County, was arrested at 9:40 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 7, after the Ulster Police Department responded to a 911 call for a stabbing victim at the Bread Alone Bakery in Ulster, police said. When officers responded to the bakery they found a 39-year-old Saugerties man had been stabbed several times allegedly by Roberts at her nearby home, Ulster Police said. Pilot Reports Engine Failure Before Helicopter Crash
The pilot of a 1989 Bell 222A helicopter that crashed in the area said the chopper experienced an engine failure causing the crash and for the helicopter to overturn. The crash took place around 12:38 p.m., Saturday, March 30, near 77 Youngblood Road in Bullville, just west of I-87 in the Town of Crawford in Orange County. The six onboard, five passengers, who were celebrating a birthday, and the pilot, suffered minor injuries, Crawford Police said. Driver In Two-Car Crash With Serious Injury Charged With DWI, Vehicular Assault
The 51-year-old driver in a two-car crash that left one person trapped and seriously injured has been charged with driving under the influence. Christopher Smith of Campbell Hall was arrested on Saturday following the crash at the intersection of Little Britain Road and Forrester Road, said New Windsor Police Lt. Michael Farbent. Responding officers found a two-car crash with heavy damage to both vehicles. The driver of one of the vehicles was trapped and in and out of consciousness.
