Unlicensed 16-Year-Old Crashes Parents' Minivan At High Rate Of Speed In Rockland An unlicensed 16-year-old was arrested after allegedly taking his parents' vehicle without permission and crashing at a high rate of speed. The incident took place in Rockland County around 1:45 a.m., Friday, June 5, in Ramapo. According to Ramapo Police, an officer was sitting at a red light on Viola Road at College Road when he spotted a 2018 Toyota Minivan run the red light at a high rate of speed, allegedly almost hitting the officer's vehicle. The vehicle continued southbound on College Road. Soon afterward, the officer located the vehicle which had crashed into a tree when it failed …
