Man, Woman Both Ejected After Vehicle Overturns In Hudson Valley
A man and woman were both ejected in a single-vehicle crash in the Hudson Valley, authorities said.
It happened around 1:45 a.m. Saturday, April 15 in Putnam County on I-84 in the town of Southeast.
A preliminary investigation determined that the driver, Yorman Hernandez-Alcala, age 29, of Bristol, Connecticut, was traveling eastbound in the right lane when the vehicle in the left lane failed to stay in the lane, causing him to lose control, New York State Police said.

Saturday, Feb. 5 marks the anniversary of the murder of Dutchess County resident Richard H. Aderson, age 47, of LaGrange, which remains unsolved.

Cuomo Declares State Of Emergency In Westchester
With New York combating the first big snowstorm of 2021, Gov. Andrew Cuomo has declared a state of emergency in the Hudson Valley.
On Monday, Feb. 1, Cuomo declared a state of emergency in Sullivan, Ulster, Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Westchester, and three other New York counties as several more inches of snow are expected to fall over the course of the late morning and afternoon.

Nearly 100,000 Rockland and Orange County residents were left without power as Tropical Storm Isaias rocked the region with extreme wind gusts that toppled trees, felled utility poles and downed power lines throughout the area.
Orange & Rockland Utilities was reporting 2,476 outages in the Hudson Valley as of 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 4, impacting 71,013 of their 229,619 customers.
