Two In Custody After Stolen Car Rollover, Foot Chase On I-287 In Westchester, Police Say Two suspects in an allegedly stolen car took police on a wild chase on, off and across I-287 in Westchester. Westchester County Police investigators at the Real Time Crime Center alerted officers on patrol at approximately 1:50 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 26, of an allegedly stolen Honda CRV that was trailing on the Hutchinson River Parkway near Mamaroneck Avenue in White Plains. I-287 Fully Reopens After Gasoline Tanker Fire This story has been updated. I-287 is now fully reopened after a fire broke out on a gasoline tanker in White Plains. All lanes both ways were initially closed between Exit 9A (I-684) and Exit 9 (Hutchinson River Parkway) after the incident occurred just before 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 14, leading to the shutdown of the highway in both directions. Westbound lanes reopened after about an hour.
