Police: Man Busted With Heroin Passed Out In Roadway Nabbed Again - This Time In Parking Lot
A 29-year-old area man who was busted with 50 folds of heroin last week after officers found him passed out in a running vehicle, has been nabbed again, this time in a parking lot. David R. Mencke, 29, of the Town of Saugerties, was arrested around 2:20 p.m., on Sunday, April 19 for alleged possession of heroin after officers responded to a complaint of a person slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle in the parking lot at Simmons Plaza, said Town of Saugerties Chief Joseph A. Woman Charged With Heroin Possession After Erratic Driving Stop In Blauvelt
A 35-year-old woman has been charged with allegedly possessing heroin after a traffic stop in Blauvelt, police say. An officer made the stop after observing a 2001 Toyota driving erratically on Convent Road near Parkway Drive in Blauvelt on Tuesday, March 12 around 10 p.m., according to Orangetown Police. Three New York State men -- two of them from Port Jervis -- were arrested just across the New Jersey state line by police who said they found the trio carrying 450 bags of heroin during a stop on northbound Route 287. Officer Christopher Fasulo stopped the car, driven by Donovan Burton, 18, of Port Jervis for several motor vehicle violations, Mahwah Police Chief James N. Batelli said. Police: Man Busted Passed Out In Car With 130 Bags Of Heroin In Ramapo
ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. - A man passed out behind the wheel of his car was busted by Ramapo police officers on Tuesday night with nearly 150 packages of heroin in his possession. An officer on patrol from Ramapo Police Department spotted a car parked off of Summit Park Road in New Hempstead at approximately 8 p.m. on Tuesday night.
