Know Him? Police Asking For Help IDing Man From Area Wanted In Shoplifting Incident
Police are asking the public for help locating a suspect from the Hudson Valley wanted in connection with two large shoplifting incidents at a liquor store. Police they are investigating the incidents that occurred on Saturday, July 10, and Thursday, July 15, at the Bottle King liquor store in Glen Rock, New Jersey. The suspect, who is from Orange County and the City of Newburgh, is described as a Black male, fled the area in a 2019 gray Nissan Sentra. He was accompanied by a heavyset Black female. ! Wayward Woman From Rockland, 74, Turns Up In Glen Rock
A lost Rockland County senior was found at a dry cleaners in Glen Rock, authorities said. Responding to the Prospect Street business, Officer Sarah Orsita found the distraught 74-year-old woman from Spring Valley, Police Chief Dean Ackermann said. She told Orsita that she’d became lost while traveling from home – a distance a little over 17 miles. The officer tried to give her directions, but the woman remained confused, he said. So Orsita contacted a friend of the woman who came to Glen Rock to pick her up, the chief said.

West Nyack Couple Busted With 60 Bags Of Heroin In NJ, Police Say
A West Nyack couple was carrying 60 bags of heroin when they were stopped on a local highway, police in New Jersey said. Glen Rock Officer T.J. Graziani pulled the car over on southbound Route 208 for not maintaining a lane and having no visible rear license plate just before 11:30 p.m. Thursday, Police Chief Dean Ackermann said. The passenger, 44-year-old Shawn R. Landau, tried giving police a bogus name “in an attempt to evade arrest on active warrants that were issued by the Elmwood Park and Paterson Municipal Courts,” Ackermann said.
