New details are shedding light on the lengths that accused Gilgo Beach serial killer Rex Heuermann went to in hopes of getting away with his alleged murder spree. The 60-year-old Long Island resident, of Massapequa Park, was arraigned on two more charges of second-degree murder in Suffolk County Court on Thursday, June 6, in the killings of Jessica Taylor and Sandra Costilla. 16-Year-Old Charged In Westchester Murder Caught On Video
A 16-year-old has been indicted for allegedly fatally shooting a man in Westchester County in an incident caught on video. The Yonkers Police Department reported that the Delaware teen was booked by police on Monday, Aug. 9 on the charge of second-degree murder in the death of Javon Merrill, age 27, of Yonkers. Man's Murder Conviction Overturned After He Served 33 Years In Prison
A 62-year-old Fairfield County man who spent 33 years in prison in New York for the murder of a teenager had his day in court and his conviction has been overturned on Long Island. Keith Bush of Bridgeport, who has maintained his innocence for 44 years since his arrest in 1975, had his conviction overturned this week after a case review found new evidence that proved his innocence. A man has been charged with murdering a woman who was found strangled to death wrapped in a blanket on the shoulder of the Sprain Brook Parkway in Westchester more than a decade ago.
