A teenager faces a felony charge after sending threatening emails to a school in the Hudson Valley, police said. The arrest resulted from an incident on Friday, Sept. 6, when a school in Putnam County's Green Chimneys School District within the town of Patterson alerted the Putnam County Sheriff's Office of concerning emails it had received, the Sheriff's Office said on Friday, Sept. 13. Woman With Previous DWI Conviction Accused Of Driving Intoxicated In Westchester
A 28-year-old woman is facing a felony charge after police said she drove while intoxicated in Westchester County after a previous DWI conviction. Troopers stopped a vehicle on I-95 in Mamaroneck for a vehicle and traffic violation at about 10:10 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12, according to New York State Police. Police said the driver, identified as Demi Torres, of New Rochelle, was found to be intoxicated. 21-Year-Old Caught With Cocaine In Suffern Traffic Stop
A routine traffic stop for a vehicle violation in Suffern led to a felony charge for a Rockland County man who was in possession of cocaine, police said. Officers on patrol from the Ramapo Police Department conducted a traffic stop on North Airmont Road on Monday afternoon, following the violation. During the stop, officers reported that they located a small bag that contained an estimated 700 mg of cocaine on the driver.
