Man Nabbed With Metal Knuckles During I-87 Traffic Stop, Police Say A Rockland County man was allegedly busted with metal knuckles during a routine traffic stop by state police. Romario Gentiles, age 22, of Stony Point, was arrested on Saturday, Feb. 6, following a stop on I-87 in Clarkstown, said New York State Police Trooper Tara McCormick. According to McCormick, state police stopped Gentiles for a traffic violation. Man Drove Drunk At More Than Twice Legal Limit In Hudson Valley, Police Say New York State Police arrested a Connecticut man for alleged drunk driving after being stopped for a traffic violation in Rockland County. Samuel Johnson, 32, of Hamden in New Haven County, was arrested around 10:20 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 5, on I-87 in Clarkstown, said state police. One stopped, troopers found that Johnson was intoxicated and performed a blood alcohol test which showed that he was allegedly driving at twice the legal limit at 0.21 percent, state police said. Man Drove Drunk With BAC Twice Limit On I-87, Police Say A man who committed multiple vehicle and traffic violations was driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.22 percent, nearly three times the legal limit, according to state police. Fairfield County resident Javier Gonzalez, of Danbury, 56, was pulled over in Rockland County at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 23, in Clarkstown, according to state police.  Gonzalez was charged with the misdemeanor of aggravated driving while intoxicated, along with several violations.  He was released to a sober third party, and will appear in the Town of Clarkstown court next month.
