4 Residents, 2 Dogs Displaced After House Fire Breaks Out In Hudson Valley
Two adults, two children, and a pair of dogs have been displaced after an overnight house fire broke out in the Hudson Valley. The blaze broke out in Rockland County at around 1:50 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 24 in Bardonia. A first-arriving Clarkstown Police Department officer observed flames coming from the rear of the home on Barry Lane, in the area of the soffits. The occupants of the home were evacuating the residence as additional units were arriving on the scene. Rockland County Home Destroyed By Fast-Moving Fire
A Rockland County home was destroyed by a heavy fire over the weekend. The fire began around 2:40 a.m., Sunday, April 11 at 28 Van Nostrand Place in Nanuet, said the Nanuet Fire Department. First arriving fire units found heavy fire and sounded a second alarm which brought additional firefighters from area departments. The family, which included two small children, were able to escape without injury. Construction Worker Injured During Accident At Ambulance Corps Headquarters In Rockland
A construction worker was rushed to the hospital after an accident at an ambulance corps headquarters in Rockland County. It happened around 2 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 14. The Clarkstown Police Department responded to the New City Volunteer Ambulance Corps, located at 200 Congers Rd. in New City, for a reported partial building collapse. Arriving units were quickly able to determine that this was not a building collapse, but rather an injured construction worker, Clarkstown Police said. Three Families Displaced In New City Condo Fire
Firefighters from eight departments battled a condominium fire early Sunday afternoon in New City that left three families displaced. The fire broke out at 17 Heritage Dr. just after 12:30 p.m. The structure was fully engulfed in flames when emergency responders arrived a short time later. No one was injured and the New City Fire Department and seven surrounding departments were able to extinguish the fire, Clarkstown Police said.
