A massive recall has been issued for a popular brand of pressure cookers due to a burn hazard. A total of 930,000 Insignia pressure cookers have incorrect volume markings on the inner pot, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced on Thursday, Oct. 26. Nearly half a million waffle makers are being recalled due to a burn hazard that has resulted in dozens of injuries. The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the recall of 456,000 PowerXL Stuffed Wafflizer waffle makers on Thursday, May 18 after 44 reports of incidents including 34 burn injuries with three requiring medical attention. Recall Issued For Coffee Cup Brand Due To Burn Hazard
Thousands of coffee cups are being recalled over concerns that they could pose a burn hazard, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). The recall involves the Moderne Glass Company's 15 ounce coffee cups, which are black on the outside and white on the inside. Model number “71500-White” is printed on the bottom. A series of Whirlpool, KitchenAid and JennAir brand glass cooktops have been recalled due to burn and fire hazard issues, according to the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). Issued on Wednesday, Aug. 28, the recall alert states that certain models of glass cooktops with touch controls can turn on by themselves and pose burn and fire hazards.
