Road Closure Alert: Route 119 In Westchester To Be Affected Those who drive on Route 119 in Westchester should look out for an upcoming closure that will interrupt traffic on the roadway.  Route 119 in Elmsford will close in both directions between Vreeland Avenue and Undercliff Avenue on Monday, Aug. 21, according to the New York State Department of Transportation.  The closure will last from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. and will allow for bridge rehabilitation work.  Motorists should use the posted detour, officials said.

Traffic Alert: Part Of Major Roadway In Westchester To Close Commuters are being warned of an upcoming road closure that will affect a part of a major state route in Westchester.  State Route 119 in Elmsford between Vreeland Avenue and Undercliff Avenue is set to be closed beginning on Thursday, April 20, the New York State Department of Transportation announced.  The road will be closed on the following dates between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m.:  Thursday, April 20 through Friday, April 21; Sunday, April 23, through Monday, April 24.  The closure is to facilitate bridge rehabilitation work if the weather permits.
