Blauvelt Sons Of Italy Unveils Bocce Tournament

BLAUVELT, N.Y. – The Blauvelt chapter of the Sons of Italy held their first-ever bocce tournament last month on a court built to honor a former member, complete with lights for night play and spectator seating.

The Lodge 2176 team finished first in a five-team field, and the second-place team was made up of members of the H.H. Rogers/Cabrini Lodge from Tuxedo.

Team members included Greg DeCola, Paul Borghese, Rich Bonardi, Carl Dornbush, Rich Delponte, Lou Ferrara and Joe Saccao, among others.
