Scheduled panelists include: Matt Ceplo, head groundskeeper at Rockland Country Club (Sparkill, NY); Michael Shilale, architect and chair of the Green Council of Rockland Business Association (NY); John McDowell, founding member of Cropsey Farm Alliance (NY); and Will Summers, farmer at Stony Point Center (NY).
All of the panelists will talk about how they are working actively toward environmentally responsible and sustainable practices in businesses that are often not known for such efforts.
“Environmental sustainability is often an ideal that can be hard to live up to,” said Murray. “We are privileged to host these four panelists who have made a difference in the ecology of Rockland County. We all benefit from their work; they show how responsible environmental practices can be a part of a sound business model.”
