Over 100 onlookers then joined in for a second round of the lively traditional dance.
SOCSD Italian teachers Roberta Avantifiori, Maria Bruno, Tricia Castelli and Christina Nilson were happy to hear from community members who look forward to the Tarantella dancing, which has become a traditional part of the entertainment lineup for the feast.
At the conclusion of the dance, participants also said they look forward to next year's feast, already set for Sept. 14-17.
