Woman Faces Drug Charges After Nyack Traffic Stop

ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- A Nyack woman, who was pulled over for speeding last week, is facing drug and other charges, Orangetown police said.

Mara E. Dale, 27, was stopped in the village on Monday, May 16, and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, circumventing an interlock device, and criminal possession of a controlled substance, all misdemeanors, police said.

A search found that Dale had several Oxycodone and Klonopin pills but no prescription, police said.

She was freed on $250 bail and is due to appear in Orangetown Justice Court to answer the charges on Thursday, May 26.
