The arrest came about during a traffic stop on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in Orangetown, police report.
During the stop, the suspect, identified as Kira Young, was found to possess a set of brass knuckles, according to officials.
Young was in possession of the weapon while having been previously convicted of a crime, police report.
Young was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, along with unlawful possession of marijuana, police report.
She was arraigned in the Town of Orangetown Court, and remanded to Rockland County Jail on $10,000 bail, according to officials.
