Two Charged With DWI In Separate Orangetown Stops

ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- Two drivers were charged with driving under the influence in separate incidents on Sunday.

According to the Orangetown police, the first incident occurred at 12:35 a.m. when officers arrested Hannah Enquist, 21, of Valley Cottage on a charge of aggravated driving while intoxicated following a traffic accident with property damage. Enquist failed the field sobriety test and the breath test following the accident, police said. She was released after posting $100 cash bond and is scheduled to appear to Tuesday, Jan. 26, in Nyack Village Court, police said.

The second incident occurred at 4:11 a.m. when officers arrested Daniel Perez, 25, of Nyack, on a charge of driving while intoxicated after he was stopped for a traffic violation and failed the field sobriety and breath tests. He was released on $100 cash bond and is scheduled to appear Jan. 26 in Nyack Village Court, police said.
