South Nyack Man Faces DWI Charge After Stop In Nyack

NYACK, N. Y. -- A South Nyack man is facing a driving while intoxicated charge after Orangetown police stopped his car Thursday on Main Street in Nyack, police said.

Michael J. Cobb, 30, was released on $100 bail and due back in Nyack Justice Court on Feb. 16, police said.

Orangetown police say they stopped Cobb's 2004 Chevy Suburban on Main Street at around 10 p.m. for unspecified traffic and car violations. 

The driver failed field sobriety tests, and during later processing at the Orangetown Police Station, failed a a Breathalyzer test, police said.
