Pearl River Woman Charged With Driving While Intoxicated

PEARL RIVER, N.Y. -- The Orangetown Police Department arrested Pearl River resident Patricia Scully on a charge of driving while intoxicated Thursday morning.

The arrest was made after the suspect was involved in a car accident on Main Street in Pearl River.

Scully, 49, was involved in a car accident on Main Street in Pearl River. Responding officers conducted an investigation at the scene, during which Scully failed numerous field sobriety tests, police said.

Scully was then arrested and taken to police headquarters where she failed, a breath test, according to police.

Scully was charged with driving while intoxicated (a misdemeanor) and was released on bail with a court date set for Jan. 13 at Orangetown Justice Court.
