The goal of the youth academy is to expose teens to as much information about these professions as possible so they can consider them as careers.

Night classes will be held from 7 to 9:30 p.m. in May and June. Day classes will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in June and one day in July.

Those interested in applying for the 2016 Orangetown Youth Police Academy can get an application from their school guidance counselor, or at the Orangetown Police Department. Applications are due by May 16.
