The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop for multiple traffic infractions on Main Street in Nyack on Friday, according to officials.
The driver, identified as Rachel Cabrera, failed numerous field sobriety tests at the scene, police report.
Cabrera was placed under arrest for suspicion of DWI and taken to police headquarters, where she submitted to, and failed, a breath test, police report.
Cabrera was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and released, according to officials.
She is scheduled to answer the charge against her in Nyack Justice Court on Tuesday, April 19, police report.
