Orangetown Police Arrest Valley Cottage Man In Theft Of Services Case

ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- A Valley Cottage man faces theft of services charges after he left a Nyack establishment on Wednesday, Jan. 13, without paying his bill, Orangetown police said.

Richard Farley, 52, was tracked to Artopee Way and arrested, Orangetown, police said.

Police said they found a gravity knife and a switchblade knife on Farley and subsequently charged him with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor; and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony; in addition to the original misdemeanor charge.

Farley was taken to Orangetown Police Headquarters processed, arraigned, and sent to Rockland County Jail, police said.
