Orangeburg, Pearl River Motorists Face DWI Charges, Police Say

ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- Two motorists were facing charges of driving while intoxicated after traffic stops this past weekend, Orangetown police said.

Anthony Morales, 23, of Pearl River, was arrested in the hamlet on Saturday, April 9, by officers investigating a one-car accident, police said.

Morales failed field sobriety tests and refused to take a breath test at the station, police said.

He is due in court on Wednesday, May 4, police said.

Raymond Sheridan, 65, of Orangeburg, was arrested Sunday, April 10, in the hamlet after an accident in which he was involved, police said.

Sheridan failed field sobriety tests, but did submit to a breath test later, police said.

He is due in court on Wednesday, May 11, police said.
