Nyack Man Stopped For Erratic Driving Charged With Felony DWI

ORANGETOWN, N.Y. – Orangetown police arrested a Nyack man who was allegedly driving erratically early Jan. 4 and charged him with driving while intoxicated.

James Bernick, 27, was charged after officers noticed his car moving erratically about 12:30 a.m. on Main Street in Nyack, police said.

Bernick refused to take a breath test and was charged with a felony due to a previous DWI conviction in 2011, according to police.

Bernick will next appear in Nyack Justice Court on Tuesday, Jan. 26.
