Nyack Man Stole $1K From Lowe's In Orangeburg, Police Say

ORANGEBURG, N.Y. -- Orangetown Police arrested a Nyack man on Monday after he stole more than $1,000 worth of merchandise from the Lowe's store in Orangeburg, according to the Orangetown Police.

Mark Hauser, 24, was arrested following an investigation into a string of thefts at the store over a seven-day period, police said.

When arrested, Hauser was in possession of heroin, Xanax, and Zubsolv, police said. 

He was charged with felony grand larceny, conspiracy and criminal possession of a controlled substance, police added.

Hauser is being held at the Rockland County Jail on $10,000 bail.
