The arrest came after officers observed the suspect, identified as Rashad Williams, urinating in public on Friday, around 3:26 a.m., according to police.
In addition, Williams was allegedly found to be in possession of more than 2 ounces of marijuana, police said.
Williams was transported to Orangetown Police Headquarters for processing; he has been charged with criminal possession of marijuana in the fourth degree, a misdemeanor, and urinating in public, a violation, according to police.
The defendant was released on bail, and is due back in Nyack Justice Court on Tuesday, Nov. 22, to answer the charges, police said.
