Nyack Male Minor Faces Criminal Charges In Orangetown

ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- A 17-year-old male was arrested on Tuesday, March 8, in Nyack facing numerous criminal charges in connection with an alleged domestic incident that was reported to police on Feb. 13, according to Orangetown Police.

The suspect was charged with the following: second-degree strangulation, third-degree robbery, and third-degree criminal mischief, all felonies; third-degree assault, second-degree menacing, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, all misdemeanors; and second-degree harassment, a violation, said police.

He was taken to police headquarters for processing then arraigned in Nyack Village Court with an appearance set for a later date, according to police.
