According to Orangetown police investigators, Trey Pinard of the Bronx rented two rooms at the hotel in August 2015 and then left without paying a pair of bills totaling more than $3,000.
The hotel on Route 9W has since closed.
Police found Pinard and arrested him about 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 23, authorities said.
Pinard was arraigned in Orangetown Town Court, where he was charged with a felony count of fourth-degree grand larceny and a misdemeanor count of theft of service, according to authorities, who said he was taken to the Rockland County jail and held on $10,000 bail.
